Who we are

Built by community, for community

The Youth Sports and Development Alliance of Kenya was registered as an NGO in 2007, with the mission of promoting the development and realization of potential by children and youth, to become stewards of their own development and the development of their communities. YSDAK endeavors to improve quality of life for vulnerable children and youth by increasing access to quality education, reducing vulnerability to drugs and substance abuse, HIV infections and its impact, and promoting life-skills and talent development among the youth.

YSDAK is managed by a board of directors whose mandate is policy formulation and oversight of programme operations. The board works closely with the secretariat, headed by the Programme Director, with staff and volunteers managing day-to-day operations.
